I always liked sewing.

My mother sewed clothes for my sisters and me when we were little and I took an interest. In seventh grade Home Economics, while the rest of the class made wrap skirts, I made a matched chevron striped sundress with an invisible zipper.

I've made a lot of home decor items for my own home and for friends over the years, but I didn't begin re-upholstering furniture until I took a class at ModHomeEc In Indianapolis.  I've been busy ever since!
